The Prayer Saturated Family: How to Change the Atmosphere in Your Home Through Prayer by Cheryl SacksMy rating: 2 of 5 starsThis book was given to me by a friend, and I in no way mean to disparage the gift.  There are a number of useful things that can be wrestled out of this book.  However, while I agree with the premise that prayer is necessary for the Christian family, I find the arguments in this book to be exegetically lacking or even manipulative of Scripture, the theology mushy at best ("The Spirit told me..."; "I heard the Lord say"; "Take communion as a family"?!), and the God & Country motive for prayer to be disheartening.  Overall, I don't recommend it as a guide for why you ought to pray, or even for a method for prayer.View all my reviews
